Since 2007, Aura Kitchenz has cut, banded and finished shutters in-house for every kitchen we install across Lucknow — over 450 of them. That means the panel on your cabinet was made to your measurement, not picked from a catalogue.

Shutter finishes
Six materials, each suited to a different budget, light and wear pattern.
Acrylic
A mirror-gloss surface over MDF that reflects light well in small or closed kitchens. Shows fingerprints more than other finishes, so best paired with soft-close hardware.
Best for open, well-lit layouts
PU (Polyurethane)
Spray-painted and hand-buffed for a smooth matte or satin surface in any custom colour. Scratch resistant and easy to touch up if a panel is damaged.
Best for custom colour matching
Membrane
A PVC foil vacuum-pressed onto MDF with no visible joints, which keeps water out of the seams. Our most requested finish for daily-use kitchens.
Best for humid, heavy-use kitchens
Laminate
A high-pressure laminate sheet bonded to plywood, built to take knocks in a working kitchen. Available in wood, stone and solid patterns.
Best for durability on a budget
Lacquered glass
Toughened glass finished in a solid colour from the back, used for accent shutters and display units rather than full runs.
Best for feature units and overheads
Veneer
A thin layer of real wood over a stable core, for kitchens that want visible grain without solid timber's movement and cost.

How a shutter is made
From your measurement to a fitted panel, in six stages at our own facility.

Site measurement
We measure your kitchen carcass on site so every shutter is cut to that exact opening, not a standard size adjusted later.

Core selection
BWP plywood, MDF or HDHMR is chosen by shutter size and finish — larger overhead panels need a more stable core than base units.

CNC cutting & shaping
Panels are cut and profiled on CNC machines for a consistent edge, so every shutter in a run closes flush against its neighbour.

Edge banding
A 2mm PVC edge is heat-sealed around each panel to stop moisture entering the core at the cut edge — the point where most shutters fail early.

Surface finishing
Spraying, pressing or laminating is done in-house depending on the chosen finish, then buffed and inspected under light for evenness.

Hardware fitting & install
Hinges, channels and handles are fitted before the shutter leaves the factory, so installation at your home is mostly alignment, not assembly.
